Contract Description
The Crown Range Road is a 50km alpine pass between Wanaka and the Wakatipu. It is a ‘special purpose road’ managed by Queenstown Lakes District Council with Transit NZ. Sections of this road were upgraded, widened & lowered to improve safety, passing & visibility. Fulton Hogan subcontracted Base to undertake the earthworks to subgrade levels, drainage & guard railing.
